Sketch book post 23

Maybe I was thinking too big with the "weekly posts" thing.
For some reason I've hit a wall with my artistic motivation.  I can't force myself to draw as much as I used to.  HELP I'M OLD.
Anyhow, hopefully I'll make this a bi-weekly thing? *she says as she proceeds to vanish for another month*

This week's batch is MOSTLY background/minor characters and a few residual side characters I needed to explore a bit more until I was happy with them.

Trying so hard to make him not look like a Cabbage Patch Kid.

I apologize for my Jessica Rabbit proportions.

For whatever reason, Claudia's dad (the guy above) is causing me trouble.  But I like how he looks...at the moment.

Her front teeth just keep getting bigger every time I draw her.  Oops.  Realistically, she should have a lisp..hmm...

Sketchbook Post 22

Welp.  It looks like my indefinite hiatus is over.
The hiatus I never mentioned would happen.  Because I didn't know I was going to take one.  The holidays and work being draining sort of culminated into me not scanning in my sketch book for, oh... two months.

But now I'm getting back into the habit of sketching more frequently again.  Sketching is good.  I'll try to post every Friday from now on.

Sketchbook Post 21

Late this week because busy.  But on the bright side, I only have a few more characters for my graphic novel I need to work on...for now :D

Carnival freaks

But is it wrong I had more fun with these incidental cop characters than the incidental carnies?  Maybe because I didn't really need to think too hard about their outfits.

That's not how arms work.

CLOWNS.

How does a six-legged dog/snake move though?

While I was looking at police uniforms I noticed that cop hats are hilarious.

He's a bad-guy

Because no one likes mosquitos

It's a wig.
